Prior to LH Ventures, Doug was cofounder and Chief Sales Officer at a regional consumer products company in Pennsylvania. Doug graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Economics and Statistics.
Bucky is an accomplished full stack developer and founder of thenewboston, a social network which provides users with technology based educational resources. Bucky has created over 4,000 computer science related video tutorials which have accumulated more than 285 million views. With 1.2 million YouTube subscribers, thenewboston is one of the leading online platforms for computer science related videos and tutorials.
Paul is a UX designer with background in instructional design and elearning. As a consultant in healthcare, insurance, and consumer goods industries, Paul has created learnable, goal-oriented experiences for tens of thousands of professionals. Paul holds a Master's of Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University.
Abe is lead back-end developer with a background in full-stack development. Prior to joining LH Ventures, he was a co-founder of AgriData, Inc., a venture-backed AI/computer vision startup focused on agricultural applications. Abe is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles.
Cezary is a front end developer with a background working in start-ups building web applications. He graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a degree in Computer Engineering.
Dave Berkus has a well-established track record in operations, venture investing and corporate board service, both public and private. As an entrepreneur, he has formed, managed and sold successful businesses in the entertainment and software arenas. As a private equity investor, he has obtained healthy returns from liquidity events in over a dozen investments in early-stage ventures. He acts as CEO coach and advisory board member to a number of technology companies, both public and private.
Kara has been working at the intersection of business and technology in the consumer goods industry for almost 30 years. Most recently, she was the industry liaison for Consumer Goods Technology (CGT), leading the publication's coverage of key trends in person, in print, and online as Executive Editor. She was previously the Research Director at AMR Research, where she focused on the gap between retailer and supplier, leading research on topics including data synchronization, trade promotions, POS data, and RFID
